February 28, 2012 Presidential Primary Election

The Presidential Primary will be held February 28, 2012. Polls open at 7 am and close at 8 pm.

Everyone participating in the Presidential Primary will be required to select which ballot style they wish to receive. There will be three ballot styles:

  • Republican
  • Democratic
  • No Party Declaration

The County of Montcalm will have a Countywide Law Enforcement Millage on the ballot, Eureka Township has a Road Millage, and Montcalm Township has a Special General Election to fill the position of Township Treasurer. Therefore those not wishing to participate in the Presidential Primary may request the No Party Declaration ballot and still be allowed to vote on these issues.

The only candidate running for Montcalm Township Treasurer is Rosemary Hyde, Republican.
