May 3, 2005 School Election - all precincts have reported. Unofficial results are final at 11:25 pm.
Under the Election Consolidation Bills, effective January 1, 2005, the Montcalm County Clerk is the Election Coordinator for all school districts that fall within Montcalm County. Therefore, petitions to run for office must be filed with the County Clerk. Deadlines are as follows:
All School Board Candidates (Carson City-Crystal, Central Montcalm, Greenville, Lakeview, Montabella, Tri-County and Vestaburg) must file with the Montcalm County Clerk no later than Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at 4 pm.

Montcalm Community College Board of Trustee Candidates
File with the Montcalm County Clerk no later than Monday, March 7, 2005 at 4 pm. Signatures requirements are a minimum of 50 and maximum of 200 Candidates for the Community College do not qualify to pay the nonrefundable filing fee. Montcalm Area Intermediate School District Candidates must file with the Montcalm County Clerk no later than Monday, May 9, 2005 at 4 pm. Signature requirements are a minimum of 40 and a maximum of 100. A $100 nonrefundable filing fee may be paid in lieu of petitions.
