Anyone wishing to place a bid for a property must present proof of funds, prior to bidding, via a bank-certified cashier's check or money order in the amount of the opening bid.
Successful bidders of property shall present payment in the full bid amount via a bank-certified cashier's check or money order along with a copy of their driver's license.
Montcalm County Sheriff's Office conducts the sales of these properties and does not guarantee clear title to any of the properties. The bidders are responsible for their own due diligence.
It is the responsibility of any successful third-party purchaser to produce appropriate documents for signature as well as recording said documents.
Successful third-party purchasers should contact our office for the availability of the Deputy Sheriff that conducted the sale for the signature of documents.
